The site-specific work within Red Lake Kokkinopezoula Mine is an intimate dialogue with Mother Earth and the natural elements, while being in a polluted area.
I wait still for almost one hour holding several rocks on my belly, wearing just a pair of rain boots. Stillness is a state that enhances resistance, pain and numbness, in which we feel everything amplified and the self understands that complete immobility is impossible for humans to reach.
When the audience approaches me, I give to each person one of the rocks I have until I finish them all. Afterwards, I lead the audience to the darkest beach and I walk on the shore where I’m surrounded by garbage, tires and white trails generated LS����
