Art is not about communication, but it is an act of resistance.
Gilles Deleuze
My artistic research focuses on the interaction with the landscape, the community and the socio-political context. The physical territory is the backdrop against which individual experience aims at reconnecting the society and the environment, and at creating renewed social cohesion.
Through my performance, installation, video and illustration projects, I question the social and ecological value of human actions. It is a constant search for the meaning of the potential of the intention that aims at the integration of differences that create division and disempowerment in society.
Matriarchy, the end of discrimination and the recovery of historical memory are the necessary bases for the identification of social dynamics that hinder social cohesion. Art is what keeps societies aware of their possibilities, it is the “white canvas” where there is no other system but that of perception and pure existence.
